My name is Laura Dean and I am from Columbia, South Carolina. I went to the Center for Inquiry for elementary school so CFI is near and dear to my heart and I love the CFI family. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Honors College with Leadership Distinction. I love the world of teaching and this passion has led me from teaching dance, to teaching in Oxford, Mississippi at a summer learning program, back to my hometown and the CFI family. I believe in exploration, child centered learning, and a community of learners which serves to foster relationships and self-discovery. I am very excited for the year to come and can't wait to get started!
